︎ FOCUS: JIAQI WANG

"I am an illustrator and animator from China, currently living in Los Angeles, CA. My work revolves around imagination about daily life, full colours, visual design, and characters. I prefer working with geometric shapes and building a narrative and poetic feeling in drawing.

After I graduated with an MA in Animation at London College of Art, I started travelling around the world. These experience and memories are my treasure house.

My biggest inspirations are movies and music - I love listening to chill rap during drawing: Wes Anderson is always my favourite. I'm always looking to work with fine composition and nice colour."
